The Newfoundland Boxer mix is a hybrid of two famous yet powerful dog breeds, Newfoundland and Boxer dog. Both dogs are exquisite in their way. The boxer dog was originated from Germany whereas, Newfoundland, as the name refers, was founded in Canada.

Newfoundland is a large water-loving dog, whose initial purpose was pulling nets for fishermen or hauling wood from the forest. The quite hardworking dog can work on both water and land.

On the other hand, the purpose of the Boxer dog was to help butchers and to control the cattle in the slaughterhouse but initially, they were used as bull-baiting dogs.

Maintaining it regularly is important to prevent the coat from matting. The dog’s size ranges from 25-30 inches in height whereas, it weighs from 80 to 120 pounds on average.
